I have exciting news! Thanks to all of your generosity and prayers, I have reached my goal and received all my funds for this upcoming year of mission work!! You guys are amazing!!!

With my departure approaching in a couple weeks, I have been busy getting all the details together and to-do lists checked off – packing, vaccinations and much more. It is comforting that my parents and brother will be taking me to Kona to send me off. This last month has been emotional, having fun with friends before saying goodbye as they leave for college and we all prepare for this next chapter of our lives. It’s hard knowing I will not see my family and friends for 6 months, since I cannot come home for the holidays. However, it has been great seeing the faces of people going on my outreach through a Facebook page. I have started to connect with a few girls from my team and cannot wait to meet them!

I would appreciate your prayers for not only my physical planning these next weeks, but also the faith and spiritual preparations of my team before we leave. The fear of the unknown has been challenging, but I know God’s plan is perfect and I can rest in knowing this year is in His hands. Thank you again, I love you all!
